With the knowledge I acquired in my training as a German Medical Doctor, my on-going studies of orthomolecular medicine and a gift to work with the different layers of the human body I follow an old tradition of the Southwest called Curanderismo – and in my particular way the practice of “Curanderismo Medical”, “Medical Healing”. According to Grace Alvarez Sesma, a well-known Curandera from Mexico (www.gracesesma.com), “each curandera has a distinctive practice that is most often learned within the context of her family, community, or tribe.”

In the context of my family I continue the tradition of medical doctors, nurses and medical technicians on both sides of the family in the third generation. My cultural heritage gives me a deep love for thorough analysis and research.

Today I practice a way of healing, which seamlessly weaves my gift as a hands-on healer in with my medical knowledge and into medical, orthomolecular and naturopathic approaches without loosing the perspective that true healing can only happen, if all aspects of a disease are being addressed: Physical, emotional, psychological, social, cultural, ancestral and, for lack of a better word and encompassing all, “spiritual” aspects of a disease which cannot be seen as separate from the patient.
